Dr. Keith L. Volstad
DC, CCSP, DABCI, DACBN
Originally from Indiana, Dr. Volstad is a graduate of the University of Health Sciences (originally called the National College of Chiropractic) located in Lombard, Illinois.The University of Health Sciences is a world leader in chiropractic and alternative health care education.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Purdue University in 1978 and his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Health Sciences in 1980 and 1982 respectively.
After practicing in Indiana for 13 years, he relocated to Jupiter Florida in 1996 to continue his Chiropractic career. Dr. Volstad has extensive experience in spinal biomechanics, nutrition, functional medicine, peripheral neuropathy and the treatment of sports injuries as well as automobile accident injuries.
Dr. Volstad has been published in the Journal of Manipulative and Physiologic Therapeutics and the Journal of Nutrional Perspectives. Hehas many years of experience as a public speaker, more than 30 years of experience in private practice, and is dedicated to improving the quality of your health.
Dr. Volstad keeps up with the latest evidence based research in the fields of nutrition, anti-aging, functional medicine, peripheral neuropathy and other wellness related topics and how this research applies to the treatment of chronic disease.
Dr. Volstad was first introduced to the benefits of Chiropractic care as a child when his parents were under Chiropractic care and taught him the value of receiving regular Chiropractic adjustments, this made him want to become a chiropractor. Dr. Volstad is married to Laura and has three grown children.
For fun, he enjoys being involved in the music department at his church and is an avid sports enthusiast enjoying especially basketball, football and golf. He and Laura enjoy walking the beach with their dog, Georgia. Bynx, the cat, prefers to stay at home.
Laura W. McLeod-Volstad
Laura currently works administering patient therapy and administrative responsibilities for the office. She has a keen interest in naturopathic medicine and studies methods and alternative therapies for health and healing.
She holds a bachelor's degree and post graduate work in Journalism and Horticulture with a background is in sales and marketing with FPL.
Laura is also a certified Landscape Designer (FCHP, FCLD), Master Gardner with the University of Florida, teaches at Mounts Botanical Garden, and has been the owner of Sanctuary Landscape Design for the last 16 years.
In her spare time, she is actively involved in her church, various Plant Societies and the Junior League.
